Wierzynek Restaurant opens its doors to you, inviting you into the interiors of a historic tenement house located in the very centre of the Old Town – the largest medieval market square in Europe. This place is surrounded on all sides by Krakow’s centuries-old monuments: St. Florian’s Gate, St. Mary’s Church, St. Adalbert’s Church, the Cloth Hall and the Town Hall Tower. The lavishly set tables are accompanied by the opportunity to marvel at the richness of our historic interiors.
Wierzynek Champagne Bar
The bar was created for Guests who appreciate the subtle taste and delicate aroma of top-class drinks. This unusual place refers to the royal tradition of drinking champagne during special celebrations.
Clock Room
In the Clock Room, shrouded in an intimate atmosphere, time has metaphorically stopped. Its walls are decorated with mysterious antique pendulum clocks from various periods of history. Above the tables is an original painting by contemporary painter and graphic artist Rafał Olbiński depicting a modern interpretation of the legendary feast at Wierzynek.
Krakow Room
Situated on the first floor of the restaurant, the Krakow Room perfectly reflects the historical atmosphere of the City of Kings, highlighting its extraordinary heritage. The walls of the chamber are decorated with Krakow's landscapes sparkling with a multitude of colours and curds made with intricate precision, evoking the distant times of the City of the Kings of Poland, full of mysteries and legends.
Column Room
The Column Room was inspired by the Doric style: it is decorated with carved coffers, delicate paintings and unique columns made in the ancient style. The chamber's unique décor is an invitation to embark on an extraordinary journey back in time, transporting guests to bygone centuries renowned for their wealth and abundance.
Pompeii Rooms
The atmosphere of the romantic Pompeian Rooms - the Large and the Small - was maintained in the style of ancient Pompeii paintings. The walls of the chambers are decorated with frescoes depicting beautiful floral compositions, arabesques, genre scenes and animals. The atmosphere is enhanced by golden candelabras and antique mirrors, which beautifully bring out the bright colours of the interiors.
Renaissance Room
The elegant Renaissance Room is located on the second floor of the restaurant. Its subdued décor is ensured by delicate classical decorations in warm colours and brass sconces full of shine. It is the perfect venue for business meetings and conferences
Wierzynek Room
In the legendary hall, we can admire an extraordinary reproduction of Bronisław Abramowicz's 19th century painting Uczta u Wierzynka. The unique setting of the feast is also created by the original cordials - masterfully crafted masterpieces adorning the walls of the chamber. Handmade according to the historical production technology of the 17th and 18th centuries, from naturally tanned calfskin, covered with a layer of genuine flake silver and decorated with intricate gilding - these spectacular works of art are the perfect complement to the royal art of feasting.
